Welcome TO TSP!

The Toronto Salsa Practice is a salsa social held every Saturday afternoon, between 3:30pm and 5:30pm at 427 Bloor Street West.

It is a relaxed, friendly gathering of salsa dancers and an opportunity to social dance with other dancers of all levels, from beginner to advanced.

There is no formal instruction; we just dance for fun to good music and help each other improve our dancing.

Admission is $7.

We play a variety of salsa styles, including New York, Cuban, romantica, Colombian, and urban.

We also play three bachata songs per session (at 4:00, 4:30, and 5:00pm), mixing it up between modern and Dominican style.

If you want to dance to your favourite song, request it for us to play next week!

So, it's Tuesday and I'm just finishing up at work. It's that mid-week moment when it feels like fun is a distant memory. So, I go on the Toronto Salsa Practice site, look at the pictures and remind myself that on Saturday there will be hours of dancing, laughing and socializing to do. TSP's great atmosphere and energy keep me going right through the week! Thanks!

My friend introduced me to TSP. Since I am very busy with school and work, it's hard for me to find time to go salsa dancing, and the TSP is a great way for me to work out, have fun, and meet lots of people, who also share a passion for salsa. It's a great way for people of diverse salsa backgrounds to come together and hone their skills. I am so happy I found out about this.
