Will there be a practice this Saturday?

Yes! There is a practice every Saturday, with the exception of one, around Christmas, when the building is closed. We’ll give plenty of advance notice at the practice, on the website, and on Facebook.

We don’t always use the same room, so when you come in, look for our sign, or ask at the glass-fronted booth on your left.

Is the practice for beginners or for advanced dancers?

TSP was begun by a group of beginners, but dancers of every level attend.
Taking a few basic salsa lessons prior to coming is strongly encouraged, as we don’t provide formal instruction.

What should I wear?

Comfortable, breathable clothing that you have good range of motion in, and salsa dance shoes or flats with a sole that allows you to turn easily are ideal.

Do I have to bring a partner?

Definitely not. Most participants come by themselves and those who come with a partner dance with other people too.

By popular request, we play three bachata songs every session, at 4:00, 4:30, and 5:00pm.
When we are in two rooms, we have an all-salsa room, and in the other room we play bachata, cha-cha, and merengue on request.

WHAT IS THE ADMISSION PRICE, AND Do I NEED to register in advance, or can I just show up?

Admission is $7. You do not need to register in advance. Just show up. We look forward to meeting you!
